Simpson Farming

Social Media Management: ongoing
Glen Simpson has been farming in Keith, South Australia his whole life. He knows everyone in town and everyone knows him. What he didn't have was a way for people outside of Keith to find him: future workers, hay buyers, people needing contractors... before they ever needed to pick up the phone.

That's what we set out to fix.

Six posts.
One million views.

In two weeks, one video hit a million views on Instagram. Six people reached out asking for work. The phone started ringing before we'd barely started.

That's the point of this.
Not follower counts. Not algorithms.
People finding your operation, deciding they want to be part of it, and making contact.
The numbers behind it:
6 posts published
1,000,000+ views on a single Instagram reel
8,121 new followers across Facebook and Instagram
1.4 million combined views across all content
6 job enquiries and counting

What we actually did

No scripting. No staging. No making the operation look like something it's not.

We showed up, worked around what was already happening on property, and captured it honestly.

The content that performed best wasn't the polished stuff, it was the F**k Up of the Month.
Real, funny, and completely true to how Glen and the team actually operate.

Farmers can smell fake from a mile away. So can the workers you actually want to hire.

What the numbers mean:

Reach and views tell you how many people scrolled past.
Engagement tells you how many stopped.

Think of it like a field day...
You can have a thousand people walk through the gate, but what matters is how many stopped at your stand, asked a question, picked up a brochure, or came back the next day.
That's engagement.

Simpson Farming's engagement rate is sitting at 16.2% on Instagram and 8.1% on Facebook.
The industry average is around 1–3%.

In plain terms: for every 100 people who see a Simpson Farming post, 16 of them are actively doing something with it, liking, commenting, sharing, saving, or clicking through to find out more. That's not passive scrolling.
That's people paying attention.

And attention is what turns into enquiries. Which is why six people have already asked about work, from six posts.
