Recruitment Marketing

for Farms and Agricultural Businesses

Attract experienced staff who actually stay... Not just backpackers passing through.
Get in touch

The Problem

You post a job ad. You get applications. But they're all wrong.

Backpackers looking for three months' work. People with no relevant experience. Candidates who ghost after one phone call or don't show up for their first day.

Finding good staff is one of the hardest parts of running a rural operation. Experienced ringers, machinery operators, station cooks, and farm managers are in demand. They have options, and they're not desperately scrolling Seek.

Your job ads list duties and pay rates. But they don't sell what actually matters: the lifestyle, the team, the skills they'll learn, the sunsets that make it worth it.

When you're competing for quality people in a tight labour market, generic job ads don't cut it.

You need recruitment marketing, campaigns that target the right people, in the right places, with the right message.

That's what I do.

The Solution

I create recruitment campaigns that attract quality candidates by selling what experienced people actually care about.
Instead of posting another generic job ad and hoping for the best, I build targeted campaigns that:

• Show what working at your operation is actually like (through photos and video)
• Highlight the lifestyle benefits (accommodation, location, team culture, career path)
• Target experienced candidates where they already spend time (Instagram, Facebook groups, industry networks)
• Position your operation as somewhere people actually want to work, not just another job

The Difference

More applications. Better quality candidates. Faster time-to-hire.

I handle everything. Strategy, content creation, copywriting, distribution, and campaign management.

You get a shortlist of quality candidates ready to interview.

Not sure what you need? Want to mix and match?

Look, I know packages can be confusing and we all love changing the plan halfway through anyway. Nothing's set in stone here.
You can pick bits from different services, add things, pull things out, or adjust as we go.
Let's just talk about what you're actually trying to achieve and build something that makes sense for your operation.

How it works

1. Discovery Call (30-60 mins)
I learn about your operation, the role you're hiring for, what's worked (or hasn't) in the past, and what you're looking for in candidates.

2. Strategy & Content Plan (1 Week)
I develop the campaign strategy, write job ad copy, and plan the content shoot. You review and approve before we proceed.

3. On Property Content Shoot (1 Day)
I visit your property to capture photos and video showcasing the lifestyle, team, work environment, and accommodation. This is scheduled around your availability and seasonal timelines.

4. Campaign Launch (Week 2)
Job ads go live on relevant platforms, social ads start running, and applications start coming in. You'll receive login access to track applications in real time.

5. Management & Optimisation (Weeks 2-4)
I monitor performance, adjust targeting as needed, and report results weekly. If something's not working, I pivot the strategy.

6. Results & Handover
You receive a final report, all campaign assets (photos, videos, copy), and a shortlist of quality candidates to interview. The content is yours to use for future hiring.

Common Questions

How long does a campaign take?

Typically 4-6 weeks from kickoff to final report. Content shoot happens in week 1-2, campaign runs for 4 weeks, then you receive the final handover and candidate shortlist.

Do I need to provide accommodation for the content shoot?

Not necessary, but appreciated if you're remote. Just a place to roll out my swag!

What if we don't get any suitable applicants?

I'll work with you to adjust the strategy and extend the campaign at no additional cost if the initial approach isn't delivering results. We pivot until it works.

Can you help us screen candidates?

Yes. I can provide initial screening (reviewing applications against your criteria and conducting preliminary phone interviews), but final interviews and hiring decisions are yours.

What if we need to hire multiple roles?

We can run campaigns for multiple roles simultaneously or stagger them depending on your timeline.
Pricing adjusts based on scope, I'll quote accordingly.

Where do you advertise the roles?

It depends on the role and target candidate.
Typically: Seek, Indeed, AgCareers, Facebook/Instagram ads, relevant Facebook groups (Rural Jobs Australia, station work groups), and organic social posts.
I target where experienced people actually look.

What if we're too busy during the content shoot?

I plan shoots around your calendar and seasonal timelines. If you're in the middle of seeding, mustering, or calving and need to reschedule, no problem. I've lived it, I get it.

Can we use the content for other things?

Absolutely. All photos and videos from the shoot are yours to use for your website, future job ads, social media, marketing materials, or anything else you need.

What if the campaign doesn't attract anyone?

This is rare, but if it happens, I'll extend the campaign and adjust the strategy at no extra cost. We'll work together to figure out what's not resonating (pay rate, location, messaging, timing) and pivot accordingly.

Do you guarantee we'll hire someone?

I guarantee professional campaign execution, strategic targeting, and quality applicants. But I can't guarantee you'll hire someone, there are variables outside my control (your location, role requirements, market conditions, candidate availability). What I can guarantee is that you'll get better results than a generic job ad on Seek.
