Livestock Photography and Videography

Photography and video for ram and cattle studs that reflect your work and genetics, before a buyer places a bid.

What we do

They're not buying livestock, they're buying a story.

I shoot and film livestock on-property, catching your stock clearly and properly, so it looks like the work that's actually gone into it. A photo grabbed in the yards might not do them justice, no matter how good the beast is.

Every buyer at a sale is filling in gaps you can't be there to explain in person, breeding, condition, temperament, the season behind the animal. Good imagery and film close that gap before they've even arrived, so what they see lines up with what they're actually buying into.

I bring the photography, video, and the judgement to know what's worth capturing, all in one practical shoot. Every piece has a purpose, whether that's a still image or a pre-sale film, and it all ties back to putting the right information in front of the right buyer at the right time.

Why it's Important

Buyers back what they can see clearly.

A grainy phone photo in the yards tells a buyer almost nothing about the work that's gone into an animal, and in a sale environment, what they can't see clearly, they hesitate on. Proper photography and film close that gap, showing the condition, the structure, and the quality that justifies the price, before anyone's even at the sale.

It also protects the work you've done outside the ring. A stud with a reputation for genuine, well-presented stock earns trust faster with every sale, because buyers already know what to expect before they arrive.

Have questions?

How do I get pricing?

Get in touch with your sale date, rough lot numbers, and location, and I'll put together a quote.

Will the video have our stud's branding on it?

Yes. Send through your logo and the lot or sale information at booking, and it's built into every video.

Do you travel outside South Australia?

Yes, into Victoria and New South Wales. If you're further out again, ask, we can work something out!

Can you cover the whole sale day, not just the lot photos?

Yes, sale day and event coverage is available separately. Get in touch and I'll scope it.

What's the difference between Per Head and Standout?

Per Head is solid, consistent coverage for every lot in the sale. Standout is for the ones that carry it, sires, donor cows, feature females, with more time, more angles, and a level of finish built for ongoing marketing, not just the one catalogue.

Do I need to prep the animals before the shoot?

A clean, settled animal photographs better, but that's it, I'm not expecting show-ring prep. Tell me what you're planning and I'll work with it.

What if the weather's bad on the day?

We reschedule. A sale catalogue is worth waiting a day or two for good light and a dry yard.

How far out do I need to book before the sale?

As early as you can, especially in peak sale season. Locking in a date early means I can plan around your property and your timeline properly, rather than squeezing it in.

Can I just get photos, or just video?

Either. Photo, video, or both, you choose what you need per booking.

Do you shoot ram studs, cattle studs, or both?

Both. Whatever you're running, I'll come and shoot it.

Let's get your lots looking like they should.

Whether you know exactly what you need, or you're not sure, flick me a message and we can go from there.
